Learn how to make Dhaba Style Tandoori Chicken at Home in a Pressure Cooker with our chef Tarika Singh <br /><br />Ingredients:<br />(Serves 2)<br /><br />Ingredients for marinade:<br />- 1/4 cup Yogurt<br />- 2 tsp Garlic Paste<br />- 2 tsp Ginger Paste<br />- 1/4 tsp Salt<br />- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder<br />- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seed Powder<br />- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder<br />- 1/4 tsp Coriander Powder<br />- 1/2 tsp Carom Seeds<br />- Oil<br />- 1/2 Kg Chicken(breast & leg)<br />- Coriander & Mint Leaves <br /><br />Ingredients for Cooking:<br />- 2 tsp Oil<br />- 3 Tomatoes(puree)<br />- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder<br />- Salt<br />- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder<br />- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder<br />- Grill Stand<br />- Melted Butter<br />- Lemon Juice<br /><br />Method:<br />1. Take yogurt in a large bowl, and add ginger-garlic paste, salt, red chilli powder, cumin seed powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder and bashed carom seeds <br />2. Now mix this marinade well<br />3. Pour oil over the marinade<br />4. Add chicken to the marinade bowl and coat chicken with the marinade<br />5. Add coriander & mint leaves to the marinade <br />6. Now, in the marinade bowl, place a small steel bowl with hot coal in it<br />7. Add, ghee on the coal, and as soon as the smoke starts coming, close the bowl with its lid<br />8. Now, let the marinade rest for at least 2 hours<br />9. Take a pressure cooker and add oil to it, followed by tomato puree, red chilli powder, salt, cumin seed powder and garam masala<br />10. Stir and let the masala's cook with the tomato puree<br />11. Now, to this masalas add marinated chicken with the rest of the marinade<br />12. Stir and coat the chicken with the puree over a medium flame for 5 minutes uncovered <br />13. Once the oil is separated, turn the chicken and let it cook for 5 whistles on a high flame <br />14. Now, take the chicken out in a plate and place it on a grill stand over a gas flame <br />15. Brush the chicken with some melted butter and squeeze some lemon juice over it <br />
